Grading is an essential element of landscape design, serving both partical and aesthetic purposes. I learned the principles of grading and how to create grading plans for my landscape projects. Through classroom discussions, exercises, and weekly assignments, I progressed from mastering the use of contours and profiles to the creation of more complex grading plans including walkways, terraces, structures and retaining walls.
